With over 10 years of experience, I have trained dogs of all breeds and sizes. I use positive reinforcement techniques to teach dogs new behaviors and ensure they are happy and healthy.
Our Values
Conscious Dog Training
Since 2012 I have been privileged enough to learn from some of the industry's most dedicated and conscious dog trainers in Los Angeles. What I mean by conscious is - aware, caring, and compassionate. We are the leaders of our packs, whether we like it or not, and we must learn to lead gently, clearly, and calmly. But to achieve that, we must first learn to lead ourselves so that we can learn to lead our packs. That means dealing with our fears in regards to exposing our dog, and our emotions when handling dogs; frustration and fear cannot be a part of our communication systems with our canine companions.
Humane, Sensible, Consistent
When it comes to dog training, there are many different variations on how to conduct the training and how to achieve the same or similar goals. Here we go over a large selection of training, such as: force-free dog training(positive reinforcement only) all the way to science based marker training (utilizing the four quadrants of operant conditioning, as well as classical conditioning) so that you may find what suits you and your pups best. Our mission is to find the best means of communication with our pack and once we do, we must then remain consistent as best we can. No pressure; just love and leadership - trust and reward.
Realistic
Dogs are not computers that can be completely reprogrammed or replaced especially when dealing with complex issues such as dog behaviors (reactivity, fear, aggression) or genetics (physical tendencies manifested from generations of breeding) - but we always end on point and in a space that the families or clients are more than thrilled about. However, there will always be a little bit of maintenance that the owners must maintain such as: dog walking, or treat training depending on the age and intensity of the issue – and thats okay!
It's not magic, it's training, and they're not machines, they're dogs that require a lifestyle they can thrive in and its up to us as owners to provide that for them!

I have extensive experience training and working with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and sizes. My journey with dogs has been both personal, with my own 2 high-drive pit bulls, and professional which allowed me to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the unique needs of each animal. Whether it's training,, behavior, modification, or just building a dog's trust, I have experience with it all and I'm excited to apply that to my work.
Rafael Cea
Hello, my name is Rafael Cea and I've been handling and working dogs for about a decade now. I am very fortunate to have had great mentors and teammates that have pushed me to learn and try new things within the dog training industry. My experience varies from Protection Service Dog Training to Aggressive and Advanced Obedience Training. With my exoerience thoroughout all forms of training, I've learned that having patience is a crucial tool when training dogs. Dogs, like people, have unique personalities. With that in mind, I try to curate a system that works best for the dog's personality in the most humane way possible.
