For the past 6 years I have been privileged enough to learn from some of the industry's most dedicated and conscious dog trainers in Los Angeles. What I mean by conscious is - aware, caring, and compassionate. We are the leaders of our packs and we must learn to lead gently, clearly, and calmly. But to achieve that, we must first learn to lead ourselves so that we can learn to lead our packs.
When it comes to dog training, there are many different variations on how to conduct the training and how to achieve the same or similar goals. Here we go over a large selection of training, so that you may find what suits you and your pups best. Once we identify our best means of communication with our pack, we must then remain consistent as best we can. No pressure.
Dogs are not computers that can be completely reprogrammed or replaced especially when dealing with complex issues such as dog behaviors (reactivity, fear, aggression) - but we do our absolute best to end as close as we can to the finished goal. Its not magic, its training, and they're not machines, they're dogs that require a lifestyle they can thrive in!
With over a decade of experience in dog training, I've had the privilege of working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. My approach centers on positive reinforcement techniques to foster new behaviors and promote overall well-being.
I began my journey as an apprentice under the guidance of esteemed trainers. From 2013 to 2016, I worked with Bridget Ortega, a renowned dog show trainer. Following that, I trained with Chuck Wade, a specialist in Mondioring, from 2015 to 2018. From 2020 to 2022, I led Matan Dog Training, where I addressed a range of issues including behavioral problems, aggression, and anxiety, while also focusing on basic obedience.
Hello, my name is Rafael Cea. I've been handling and working with dogs for about a decade now. I am very fortunate to have had great mentors and coworkers that have pushed me to learn and try new things within the dog training industry. My experience varies from protection and service dog training to aggressive and advanced obedience training.
With my experience throughout all forms of training, I've learned that patience and building a bond with the dog are crucial training tools. Dogs, like humans, have unique personalities. With that in mind, I try to curate a systems that works best for the dog's personality in the most humane way possible.
My name is Chloe Sobel and my passion for dogs began early in my teenage years and has only deepened over time. I have extensive experience training and working with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and sizes.
My journey with dogs has been both personal, with my own two high-drive pit bulls, and professional, which has allowed me to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the unique needs of each animal. Whether it's training, behavior modification, or just building a dog's trust, I have experience with it all and am excited to apply that to my work.
